El Bandido with his cheesy smile and wide eyes welcomes visitors with a playful demeanor but is clearly hiding something more than a lowered revolver. Is he a protector like a sheriff is the old wild west? Or a common man that doesn't want to adhere to violence but finds himself reluctantly holding a revolver and attempting to hide the fear or shame in his face. The shadow seems to represent more than a silhouette for his personality. It seems to be facing the opposite direction but my eyes trick me to thinking it too is watching. I love the way your characters give life to death and portray a silent warning that is common in every day life. Dr. T
